Quality of Service

The energy-optimizing cloud manager described in the previous section will be augmented to include consideration of quality of services. Service degradation might be in the forms of latency,
execution speed, or sporadic service outages.

The GSN Project will build models of interaction between movement of services and QoS, and use these models to trade off utilization of off-grid renewable energy against QoS.
